How does it work?
Maxi-GAKIC is a safe, natural blend of glycine-l-arginine-alpha-ketoisocaproic acid (GAKIC). GAKIC is scientifically proven to increase training intensity by enhancing resistance to fatigue. Who is it used for?
GAKIC's chemical name is glycine-l-arginine-alpha-ketoisocaproic acid. Glycine is a nonessential amino acid. Research shows that production of growth hormone (which can promote muscle growth) increases proportionally with glycine supplementation, while the combination of glycine and arginine has the potential to increase muscle creatine levels [1].

Arginine performs many functions including the removal of ammonia from the body, immune support, and hormone regulation. Arginine also synthesises nitric oxide, which relaxes blood vessels. The Alpha-ketoisocaproate (KIC) in GAKIC, is a branched-chain keto acid (BCKA) possessing anti-catabolic properties, meaning it can help prevent muscle breakdown. BCKAs also aid in a muscle's energy production, particularly through the removal of ammonia, which is known to result from the breakdown of ATP, and is partly responsible for muscular fatigue [1].

GAKIC has been extensively researched for over 8 years, and several very promising studies have been done on this supplement. GAKIC supplementation has been shown to significantly increase total muscle work performed during resistance training by an average of 10.5 percent during the first 15 minutes of high intensity exercise [1]. Furthermore, GAKIC significantly increases the ability to sustain muscle force (concentric torque) by at least 28 percent during intense acute anaerobic muscle exercise [2].
How does it work?
Maxi-GAKIC (8 capsules) should be taken 30 minutes before training. Because the benefits of GAKIC are immediate, it need only be taken on training days. No loading protocol is required.
What results can I expect?
GAKIC produces immediate increases in muscular strength and endurance. This translates into more repetitions and a higher training intensity. With time, a higher training intensity should elicit greater gains in muscle strength and mass.
